"March 1997 the Dutch Society for Dragonfly Studies (NVL) was started and brings both amateur and professional dragonfly investigators together. Main objective is stimulating research and taking care researchers are able to contact each other. Therefore it sometimes organizes field trips, weekend meetings and a yearly Dragonfly study day.
